BIG BEAR'S SPORT RIDERS

If you own a sportbike and live in Big Bear, we have a June through September group you might enjoy. The idea behind our weekday jaunts is to get in some spirited riding while the highways are less crowded and the CHP isn't out in force. We can always go sight-seeing on the weekends when traffic slows us down. Our weekday outings are intended for sport riding. In the interest of safety, we discourage passengers.

Our weekday rides are unscheduled, loosely organized, tend to take place on the spur of the moment, and usually last for an hour or two. People who are on the list may decide to go riding and make a couple a phone calls to others on the list, giving them a time and place to meet. If nobody else shows up, then they'll ride alone.

You don't need a full-on sportbike to come along. Any bike that handles well on our mountain twisties should be fine. On the other hand, boulevard cruisers and choppers will be dragging parts, and are simply not safe for the canyon-carving we have in mind.

Anyone who likes leaning their bike over will love our weekday sporting rides.   Sportbike Art   Any bike that does well on our winding mountain roads will enjoy the pace.
